Precision PC Repair is independently owned and operated by Ritesha Banjade as a Sole Trader in the United Kingdom.
Precision, honesty and care โ the three principles behind every repair I take on.
Every diagnostic, quote and repair is handled personally. No call centre, no ticket queue โ just a technician who takes the time to explain the problem, offer real options, and get your machine running the way it should.
My name is Ritesha Banjade, and I am the independent technician behind Precision PC Repair. What began as a curiosity about how computers work has grown into a full-time craft โ one where I get to help people every day recover, upgrade and enjoy the machines they rely on. I run this business as a sole trader, which means every diagnostic, quote and repair is handled personally by me. There is no call centre, no ticket-shuffling and no anonymous back office. When you contact Precision PC Repair, you speak directly with the person who will work on your device.
I built this business because I saw too many people paying too much for repairs they did not need, or being handed devices back with the underlying issue still there. Computers have become deeply personal โ they hold our photographs, our studies, our work, our small businesses and our hobbies. When they fail, the anxiety is real. I decided the most valuable thing I could offer was clarity: an honest diagnosis, a straightforward explanation of the options, and a repair carried out with genuine care.
I have worked with a wide variety of desktops, laptops and workstations across many generations of hardware. My comfort zone stretches from older machines that need patience and creative sourcing of parts to modern systems with soldered storage, tight thermal budgets and complex boot security. I stay current with Windows and macOS troubleshooting practices, understand the differences between UEFI and legacy boot environments, and work regularly with NVMe SSDs, DDR5 memory, integrated and discrete GPUs, and modern cooling solutions.
Beyond hardware, I invest a great deal of time in software diagnostics. Many performance problems people assume are hardware failures are actually caused by bloated startup routines, background updates, driver conflicts, corrupted user profiles or lingering malware. Being able to tell the difference between a genuine hardware issue and a software problem masquerading as one saves my clients real money โ and this is where careful diagnostics pay off.
Every repair I take on starts with a proper assessment. I do not guess, and I do not sell parts you do not need. If the honest answer is that your machine is beyond economical repair, I will tell you clearly, explain why, and help you understand what a sensible replacement path looks like โ including how to safely migrate your data. If the fix is small and something you can easily do yourself, I will happily point you in that direction. My reputation is worth far more than a single invoice.
When a repair does go ahead, I take the time to do it properly. That means using known-good parts, following manufacturer torque and thermal guidelines where applicable, applying fresh thermal paste and pads when reassembling, and running full validation tests before I sign off on the work. Every repair receives a bench test, a stress test appropriate to the fault, and a final health check. I keep detailed notes and share the relevant technical summary with you, so you understand exactly what was done and why.
Running the business as a sole trader means I can shape every interaction around the person in front of me. Some clients want a deeply technical breakdown; others simply want their laptop to work again. I match my communication style to each customer, avoid jargon unless it is helpful, and always leave you with a clear next step. If you need a hand setting up backups after a repair or want a quick refresher on how to check for updates, I am happy to walk you through it โ that kind of aftercare is part of the service, not an upsell.
The tools of the trade have changed enormously in the last decade. Board-level diagnostics, precision thermal cameras, ultra-fine soldering equipment, ESD-safe workstations and reliable data recovery software have made many repairs possible that were once dismissed as unfixable. I invest in my toolkit continuously so that when a modern ultrabook, gaming laptop or all-in-one desktop lands on my bench, I have the right equipment for the job โ not a workaround.
I also take software repair seriously. Windows and macOS have grown more capable but also more sensitive to badly-timed updates and driver conflicts. Modern repair frequently involves rolling back drivers, repairing update servicing stacks, rebuilding user profiles and restoring critical system files without a destructive reinstall. Preserving your data and settings whenever possible is always my first choice.
The best repair is the one you never need. I encourage every client to think about preventative maintenance โ regular software updates, sensible antivirus practices, dust and thermal management, healthy backup routines and periodic health checks. My PC Health Check service is designed exactly for this: to catch small issues before they turn into major failures. Simple habits, done consistently, keep computers reliable for far longer than most people realise.
After a repair is complete, my responsibility does not end. If you have questions, run into a follow-up issue related to the work I did, or simply want a second opinion on something you have read online, you can reach out. I stand behind my repairs with a straightforward workmanship warranty and treat every client as a long-term relationship rather than a single transaction.
Many of the people I work with today came to me years ago with a broken laptop and have stayed in touch since โ through new machines, upgrades, upgrades gone sideways, and everything in between. That continuity is one of the things I value most about running an independent business. I know the equipment you use, remember the fixes we have done before, and can build a picture of how your setup should behave over time. That context alone often makes future troubleshooting significantly faster.
If you have a device that needs attention โ whether it is refusing to boot, running slowly, showing signs of a virus, in need of an upgrade, or simply due for a proper health check โ I would be glad to help. You can reach me at support@precisionpcrepair.co.uk or through the contact form on this site. Typical response time is within one business day, and I always confirm receipt of your enquiry personally.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little about how I work. Precision PC Repair exists because I believe repair should be careful, honest and genuinely useful โ and because I enjoy the craft of it. I look forward to helping you keep your machine running at its best.
